Die Reinhart Wolf photographische Stiftung fördert und unterstützt junge, begabte Photographen und verfolgt ausschliesslich und unmittelbar gemeinnützige Zwecke.

Der Reinhart Wolf Preis wird seit 2002 mit dem BFF-Förderpreis verliehen.

Mit dem BFF-Förderpreis werden die besten Hochschulabschlussarbeiten im Bereich Fotografie ausgezeichnet. Der Reinhart Wolf Preis wird als zusätzliche Auszeichnung für diejenige Abschlussarbeit vergeben, die die Jury aus den für den BFF-Förderpreis ausgewählten Arbeiten als "Best of the Best" bestimmt. Der BFF-Förderpreis und der Reinhart Wolf Preis werden vom BFF (Bund Freischaffender Foto Designer) ausgeschrieben.

The Reinhart Wolf photographic Foundation promotes and supports young, talented photographers and pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes.

The Reinhart Wolf Award is given together with the BFF Promotion Award in 2002.

The BFF Promotion Award is bestowed on the “Best final degree work in the field of photography” and the Reinhart Wolf Award is additionally awarded to the final work which the Jury selects from the Promotion Award winners as being the “Best of the Best”. The invitation to complete for the BFF Promotion Award and for the Reinhart Wolf Award is issued by the German Professional Photo Designers' Association BFF – Bund Freischaffender Foto Designer).
